So this is love
An adventure in planning a wedding and a future together.

UPDATE!

It has been about forever and a day since I posted last, but I’ve been so busy with school and my internships that I haven’t had time. Just looking through stuff online tonight made me feel pretty overwhelmed so I’m thankful I have some time to plan this! Buuut Josh and I were talking about it and as of today, the wedding is roughly 20 months away (we don’t have an exact date, but we’re thinking spring 2013). I graduate (hopefully!) in May 2012 which really leaves me with less than a year to plan the wedding when I’m done with school… Wish me luck!

I think we’re pretty set on having both the ceremony and reception at Meyer’s Castle in Dyer(?) Indiana. We love practically everything about it. The estate has gorgeous landscaping, beautiful architecture and it’s not a typical banquet hall - the exact thing I wanted to avoid. Hopefully the food is good… I’d like to see how much wiggle room I have in what we can have served and what kinds of hors d’ourves we can have for the cocktail hour. It’ll be extra for sure, but we’ll just have to see how much, if it’s worth it and if it’s even possible.

~~~More to come!
Photos from a Meyer's Castle Wedding→
These are some photos I found of a couple who had their ceremony and reception at Meyer’s Castle. Again, the reception is in the smaller of the two ballrooms (just like from one of the first posts in this blog). Found on http://hannahgoering.com, photos taken for George Street Photography.
These don’t seem TOO hard to make… Maybe they would work for the wedding shower and/or reception? I love how big and full you can make them!
Another gown from Kleinfeld’s - a Lazaro. In the $$ price range of $3-5,000.
I think I’m getting a little carried away with these gowns considering their hefty price tags, but (of course) I can’t find anything on any other sites that compare to them!
Another Pnina Tornai from Kleinfeld’s! Looove this one too. Unfortunately, the two Pnina gowns are in the $$$ price range which means $5-8,000.
This would make a cute gift for my bridesmaids or wedding shower guests! -sounds really inexpensive to do too which is a plus.
My dream dress! A Pnina Tornai from Kleinfeld in Manhattan. They took the gown off their site so hopefully it’s still available!
